Sangita Basnet, NP

Sangita Basnet is a dedicated and certified Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in both clinical and hospital settings. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from The George Washington University in 2023, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purbanchal University in Nepal. Sangita is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (AANP).

Sangita’s professional journey spans diverse roles and responsibilities. She serves as a Nurse Practitioner at Sivimed Internal Medicine and Primary Care in Frederick, MD. Here, she excels in comprehensive health assessments, individualized treatment planning, chronic and acute care management, and patient education. Her previous roles include student nurse practitioner positions at Menocal Family Practice and Capital Women’s Care, and a registered nurse at St. Therese Nursing Home.

Outside of her professional life, she values spending time with her family and exploring new places.
